Bernadette and Antoni Hoste-Mackowski have been successfully running French and Spanish à la Carte, a private language school for all levels and ages, in London for the past 18 years. They have now decided to use their experience to offer the same quality teaching in a lovely part of Southern France.
Bernadette - experienced French teacher
Bernadette, the native French-speaking teacher, is well known in the South London region for her excellent teaching skills. Her innovative style matches the individual needs of each pupil. She combines her enthusiasm and her sense of fun with a thoroughly professional approach to teaching the language.
Bernadette is equally at ease with young children learning French whilst playing games, as well as with teenagers having to brush up their French for exams; or with adults - shy or not - wanting to learn or improve the language for whatever reason.
Antoni - organiser, and chef
Antoni, still learning French and getting better at it, is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the school. He knows the region and organises the various activities, he drives the pupils around and is there to sort out any hitches.
Antoni is also an excellent chef. He is the one who prepares all the meals offering regional specialities using fresh local ingredients.
